Description
Set in a secluded garden, and with beautiful views of the Atlantic ocean, this is your home away from home. It is situated in the affluent, tranquil suburb of Garajau in Caniço, seven kilometres from the main city of Funchal, and about eight kilometres from the airport.

The Garajau shopping area is within 5 minutes walk and has a pharmacy, several restaurants, cafes, hairdresser, bakeries and a small supermarket. From here, there are regular buses to Funchal, the main city, with it’s shopping centres, historic theatre, market, and museums.
The detached cliff side house comprises two, en-suite bedrooms, kitchen, sitting room and dining room all furnished with classic furniture, books and original paintings by the owner’s mother. The terrace and sitting room have stunning views of the sea, from which you can enjoy the spectacular sunrises and sunsets of the island.
Sea bathing facilities are located in the Garajau Nature Reserve which is located a few minutes drive from the house and is accessed by cable car and at Caniço’s Reis Magos beach (about 5 minutes drive).
Further west are the sea side towns of Santa Cruz and Machico. The Palheiro gardens and Palheiro Golf course are within easy driving reach – about 10 minutes away, while the Santa de Serra golf course is within about twenty minutes drive.

“As three gardening ladies travelling to Madeira we had the best of times. Três Palmeiras is a family home shared with all the richness of its past stories. The villas is well equipped, has an amazing view and a lovely garden. Being a short(uphill) walk to Garajau, you feel you are seeing part of the real Madeira and not a tourist hotspot. Car hire is recommended but not essential. The agents, Debbie and Tony, are so attentive that you enjoy your stay”.

50% deposit of the total price is paid on reservation and the remaining balance 2 weeks before arrival.
