Ultra Skymarathan Madeira

With the picturesque city of Santana as backdrop, the 6th edition of the Ultra Skymarathon® Madeira.
The USM 2019 integrated for the fifth year the Skyrunner® World Series part of ISF – International Federation Skyrunning calendar, and for the third consecutive year the Skyrunner® National Series Spain, Andorra & Portugal.
Skyrunning is a technical mountain race comprised by steep slopes of high technical degree, that will surely appeal all participants, not only for its unique features, but also for the beauty of the surrounding sceneries and landscapes of the islands northern coast.
This will be an international sporting event, that will contribute for the promotion of the municipality´s natural heritage, combined with the tourist potential of its pedestrian routes and also with its typical culture and traditions,taking place on the 31st of may and 1st of june.
This event consists of four races, of different distances, the Madeira Sky Race® (MSR 55km 4121D+), the Santana Vertical Kilometer® (SVK 4.8Km 1003D+), the Santana Sky Race (SSR 21 km 1672D+) and the Laurissilva Sky Race (LSR 13km 655D+).
